Commercial:
Permanent loans are typically fixed for 3 to 10 years, but can extend up to 30 years. They may be interest only or can amortize for 20 to 35 years. Loan amounts might reach up to 90% loan to value and could be up to 100% loan to cost.
Construction:
While construction lending was historically done by local banks, sources of construction lending have broadened to include Wall Street Investment Banks, Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, Credit Companies and National or Regional Banks.
